Diamond W Driving School is certified by both ODOT and DMV and is designed to help train and develop student drivers.

 

To complete the Driver’s Education course, each student must complete a total of at least 30 hours of classroom learning, and have at least 12 hours of in-car lessons (6 hours behind-the-wheel, and 6 hours in observation). To “pass” this course the student must complete the classroom portion, final written test, and the final drive all with an 80% or higher for each portion. The entire course (both driving and classroom portions) will take a minimum of 6 weeks to complete (summer classes may differ in length, ask for more details).

 

There will be a total of 5 Behind the wheel drives where I will coach the student. There will also be a drive final after the classroom portion of the course is completed.  Permits are required for each drive, please don’t forget them!

The cost for the course is $550.00. Registration is a 2-step process. First you will need to return the registration form, and the pre-registration payment of $100.00. Once the student has been registered for a scheduled class, more specific information will be sent to you via email along with other registration forms that must be filled out and returned. The $100.00 pre-registration payment is a part of the total cost.  If you need to have special arrangements made for payments please feel free to contact me directly.
